About those cookies

Two kinds of cookies, one honest switch, and a site that works fully either way.

Essential: always on ยท analytics: consent only ยท ad measurement: consent only ยท profiles built: never
?

What are cookies, in one breath?

Small text files a website stores on your device to remember things โ€” a preference, a session, a visit count. Similar technologies (local storage, pixels) do related jobs; this page covers those too.

?

Which kinds do you use?

  • Essential โ€” keep the site working and remember your cookie choice itself. These run always; the site can't work without them.
  • Analytics โ€” consent only โ€” help us understand which pages help people, in aggregate. Run only if you choose "Fine by me".
  • Advertising measurement โ€” consent only โ€” where our site is reached through advertising, these measure that advertising's performance (e.g. that a visit or call followed an ad). They run only with your consent and are not used to build profiles of you.
  • Never โ€” no cookies for selling your data; no sharing with mobile networks.
?

How do I change my choice?

  • The bar on your first visit sets your choice: "Fine by me" enables the consent-only kinds; "Essentials only" declines them. Either way, the site works fully.
  • You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time; clearing them will re-show the bar.
  • Questions โ€” ask us anything. Checked July 2026.

Want a human, not a webpage?

Ring or WhatsApp and ask your question out loud โ€” coverage, switching, a deal you're not sure about, a bill that stalled, a call that smelt fishy. We'll talk it through in plain English.

Calls: standard landline rate (020), usually inside your inclusive minutes. WhatsApp: free on your data. We give general guidance only โ€” we can't open or touch any network account, and we NEVER ask for passwords, one-time codes, banking or card details.
