O2 and annual changes
O2 runs a UK mobile network within Virgin Media O2. Device finance and airtime can be distinct responsibilities, which makes the contract summary important.
Use the annual-change wording in the specific O2 contract and any later official notice. For a personal bill or device balance, use My O2 or another verified O2 route.
The terms that matter are those attached to your own service. An independent information line cannot view the account or confirm an individual balance, eligibility or coverage outcome.
Questions worth writing down.
For new contracts since January 2025, Ofcom requires any in-contract increase to be set out up front in pounds and pence, with timing clear. Older agreements may have different terms.
- Which document or provider page states the rule for this specific account?
- Does the handset, postcode, destination or start date change the answer?
- What happens after the current term or allowance ends?
Do not guess a future change from a different customer’s agreement. Read your own summary and official notice.
